Growing up, sports gave me more than love—they gave me purpose. As a basketball player and coach, I’ve seen how sports build confidence, community, and strong character. But many kids don’t get these chances.

I started Resilient Youth Sports Academy to change that. What began in Southern California is now an international nonprofit helping children in the UAE, India, Australia, and more.

We believe every child should have the chance not just to play but to grow in leadership, health, and cultural understanding.

Te’onna Campbell - Founder & President

An international basketball coach, youth mentor, and mental health advocate, Te’onna has spent over a decade designing holistic sports programs across four continents. Her leadership merges cultural healing, competition, and curriculum innovation.

Katherine Alicia Parks -Board Secretary

With over 30 years of experience in medical billing, nonprofit oversight, and elder care administration, Katherine ensures operational integrity and compassionate governance. Her attention to detail and heart for service strengthen the board’s daily function.

Yusuf Abubakar - Program Manager

Yusuf brings a unique blend of community organizing, youth mentorship, and cross-border collaboration to Resilient Youth. Originally from Nigeria and now based in the UAE, he plays a pivotal role in executing international programs and grassroots outreach.
